The Magic:
As her clock strikes midnight,
two magical figures emerge
from within it's chamber and Teiya is
transported to dreamland. Her favorite
toys bounce to life, the butterflies in her terrarium become beautiful, winged people, even her lamp steps to life as a woman made of glowing golden light. Everything from her imagination becomes real, and it is unbelievably amazing, but her imagination includes a cloud of sadness
that threatens to make dreamland
disappear. With the help of the fantastical characters she meets in dreamland, Teiya discovers the strength to defeat the negativity that is trying to take away her dreams. She returns home, keeping this strength with her in order to spread creativity to the real world.
The Story:
Teiya is a quirky young girl with a stunning imagination. She dreams
of a different world, a world where creativity can flourish
and uniqueness is celebrated. She is stuck in a dull town
where everyone is the same, and they want it
to stay that way. Even her parents
pressure her to be boring, like everyone else. Then one
night, everything changes when she is whisked away to dreamland.
In order to save dreamland from disappearing, Teiya must learn that the power to conquer negativity has always been inside of her.
The Circus:
The Bay Area's most elite youth
talent assemble to present you
this incredible immersive journey. Glowing umbrellas fly, lifting performers into the air. Acrobats flip across a giant bed. Contortionists bend to baffling degrees within strange boxes. Trapeze artists swing 20ft high. We boast all of the traditional circus acts you would expect, such as aerial silk, plus, we uniquely host a superior number of custom-built apparatuses such as: our illuminated bubble-lyras where aerialists balance precariously over each other, our massive rolling tubes inside which acrobats defy gravity, our aerial bike atop which acrobats fly, and our chandelier on which dancers captivate.
